An exceptional swashbuckling adventure score with heavy Latin influences and grand themes. The action music is heroic and playful, and infused with such diverse colors as Spanish guitar, shakuhachi flutes, trumpets, and rhythmic foot tapping. The softer side is beautiful, and includes an absolutely wonderful love theme. Overall, The Mask of Zorro is a well-done and unique addition to any collection.
