A very fun score that strikes a nice tonal balance between comedy and horror. The main theme evokes a certain mischievousness, and appears often in various iterations. Additionally, there is theme for the heroics of the townsfolk; a castanet-backed theme for the mother spider; and a few amusing uses of "Itsy Bitsy Spider". Although it can become harsh or frantic at times, it's still a highly enjoyable work.
