A powerful horror score that manages to entertain throughout its long album presentation. There are a few moments of beauty, but for the most part the music is dominated by brooding, menacing cues. The suspense material is engaging, and the massive orchestral action sequences are exhilarating. It manages to pay tribute to the franchises it represents, while carving out its own sound.
